Exporting as pdf: Embed fonts "Text as curves" problem

Hi,

I'm trying to export an affinity publisher file as pdf and I have the Embedded Fonts "Text as Curves" option enabled.

Unfortunately come letters (letter l) are shown in bold when I view the generated pdf.

I use version 1.8.3.641, the used font is Arial Regular of size 12.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Welcome to the forums. This is a common PDF reader problem. Solutions: Do not export as curves or uncheck "Enhance thin lines" in preferences. It does look ugly, but prints well. Here a lengthy (old) discussion to this matter:
