joejoe2010
Hi, I'm trying to export an affinity publisher file as pdf and I have the Embedded Fonts "Text as Curves" option enabled. Unfortunately come letters (letter l) are shown in bold when I view the generated pdf. see screenshot I use version 1.8.3.641, the used font is Arial Regular of size 12. Any ideas on how to solve this? Best regards
Joachim_L
Welcome to the forums. This is a common PDF reader problem. Solutions: Do not export as curves or uncheck "Enhance thin lines" in preferences. It does look ugly, but prints well. Here a lengthy (old) discussion to this matter: https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/thick-letter-l-in-pdf/td-p/1311566?page=1 Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
joejoe2010
Thank you for your quick reply. Indeed when I zoom in the letters look okay, I have to confess I didn't try this. Greetings Joachim_L
