LuckyLuke60 Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 (edited) Hallo, my problem is the following. I have a designer-file with transparent background and some text (or curves) and lines in black color. The file is a cmyk/8-file. I export it to PDF with "overprint black". When I open the PDF-file, the text has all 4 colors of cmyk - not only black, like it should be. This does not happen with every designer-file. I have another one, where the same process works fine, but I do not understand, were the difference is in the 2 files, that causes the different behavior! Okay, sorry. I found the reason. Black is not always black. It seems to be as simple as that. The swash for 100% black just looks gray on my screen. Thanks for helping LuckyLuke60 Edited May 14, 2020 by LuckyLuke60 Problem solved Quote

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
