Hello everyone, has anybody had any issues with converting Photoshop (abr) brushes to Affinity Designer/Photo? I'm in the process of adapting some Photoshop brushes that I've made to Affinity and I'm finding that I can't get them to look as they do in Photoshop. In particular, the tapering at either end of a brush stroke is completely different. Is there a way of controlling the tapering at the two different ends of a brushstroke? Can anyone point me in the direction of any relevant help articles? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Following on from this initial question, I'm trying to get the end of the brushstrokes to form a sharp taper and the start of the brush to be more of a rounded taper. The attached pic shows my initial Photoshop brush marks in black and then my efforts to replicate them in Affinity in blue on the right. All these brush marks were created in a downward direction. Brushstrokes in Affinity seem reversed, ie; they run thin to thick rather than thick to thin. Is there any way to change this? Thanks!

Hi TomW,

Welcome to the forums :)

If possible could you provide the .ABR files so I can look into this further for you?

Thanks
