Hello all! I am considering switching to the Affinity suite of software as part of my main workflow, but I have a couple of questions. 1) My current setup is a MacBook Pro and an iMac: since one of them is a laptop and the other a desktop, does that mean that I have to buy two separate licenses? 2) Is there a way of syncing brushes, styles etc across 2 computers? Having a cloud-like system to have the Affinity software on both of my computers, fully synced? My intention is to start fully using all three of Affinity's software. Kind regards, Jeremy

Welcome to the forums!

1. The short answer: one license per product allows you to install that Affinity app on every Mac you own or control.

The longer answer: For purchases made from the Affinity Store, the licensing terms can be found here in the Digital orders section (note the differences for personal & commercial use). For purchases made from the Mac App Store ("MAS"), the licensing terms are very similar. They vary slightly by country or region but for example for US buyers, at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/us/terms.html scroll down to the "App Store Content" section for the details. Note that Affinity apps bought from MAS also permit family sharing.

2. There is no official way to sync brushes, etc. among multiple computers. However, you can export & import most items (usually by category) to selectively get the same stuff on more than one computer. There are also some officially unsupported hacks that replace one computer's stuff with that of another, but this is not a 'merge' like true syncing would do.
