GerardLakke Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Affinity Photo shows colors way too dark. I discovered this when I was experimenting with pixilating paintings of old masters. The screenprint shows the same file next in Windows Photos and Affinity Photo, next to each other. The colors in the left image are really more natural than those in Affinity (I am sure it is not Windows Photos that shows the colors wrong; I noticed this darkening in Affinity earlier on also with my bare eyes). What is wrong? Is this a settings thing? Does the program needs some kind of calibrating? Quote
Joachim_L Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Perhaps you already noticed that your White is not white? Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
GerardLakke Posted April 25, 2020 Author Posted April 25, 2020 Ah, I see it now. It shows correct when I use the laptop screen, but distorts the colors when I use a second monitor. Thanks for answering so extensive! Quote
