I'm looking to publish on KDP and have created a PDF for my book using Affinity Publisher but after uploading to the site I seem constantly get an error saying 'There was an error processing your files' This error doesn't seem to show up when I use my Mac's Preview app which uses the 'Print > Save as Adobe PDF' method to create the PDF however it does reduced the dpi significantly creating blurred artwork which is why I've opted to use Affinity instead. Has anyone used Publisher to create a PDF book for KDP?
Staff Lee D Posted April 23, 2020 Staff Posted April 23, 2020 It's not something I've used before, usually they will have a a spec for the PDF files that are uploaded. Have you checked for a requirements list? Do they provide any indication on what the issue maybe with the version you're uploading?
