KennethM
How do i add a layer like in photoshop? Is their a simpel click or just work around to add a layer? In my opinion A MUST to have the same layout as in photoshop!! It's to much hustle around for such a simple thing. And why can't i easily flatten or merge layers? I know it's a different system then adobe but make it a bit friendlier in line with adobe!
Staff MEB Posted April 15, 2020 Staff Share Posted April 15, 2020 Hi KennethM, Welcome to Affinity Forums I assume you are working with Affinity Photo correct? To create a new layer go to the bottom of the Layers panel and click the icon on the left of the trash icon (second counting from the left). To merge layers, go to menu Layer and select Merge Down, Merge Selected or Merge Visible depending on what/how you want to merge them. If you want to flatten the whole document go to menu Document > Flatten. KennethM 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
