Publisher lässt sich nicht öffnen/Cannot open Publisher

Ich habe soeben den Affinity Publisher gekauft und heruntergeladen. Leider lässt sich das Programm nicht öffnen. Mein Computer (Windows7) wollte es mit dem Adobe Reader öffnen. Dort steht jedoch, dass er das Programm nicht öffnen kann, da der Dateityp nicht unterstützt wird. Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?

I just bought and downloaded Affinity Publisher. Unfortunately, the program cannot be opened. My computer (Windows7) wanted to open it with Adobe Reader. However, it says that he cannot open the program because the file type is not supported. Can someone help me?

Hi MeddlLoide and Welcome to the Forums,

Can you run the setup again so it fails and then call up the Run Box by holding down the Windows Key and tapping the letter R.  In the run bix copy and paste:

%temp%AffinitySetup
Then click okay.

Thats should open a folder and in here will be a file called Affinity.msi Right click this file and select Open With>Choose Another App and on the window that pops up, select Windows Installer and put a tick in Always use the selected program and click okay.

You'll then likely get an error but if you just click okay and then re-run oursetup it should then install
