chinomatic Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Recently I checked a topic regarding same issue on this forum, but it's for a desktop version, I tried to do same recommendations from Erica (https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/106098-export-from-ad-to-ai-converts-lines-to-shapes-all-settings-correct-nothing-works/&tab=comments#comment-573567) to apply on ipad version, but nothing works. I need to keep strokes attributes because I have to work with this file in AE. I'm new in AD and I'm testing if AD works better to work a vector illustration on ipad (I've been using vectornator, pretty good but with limitations). Quote
Staff Lee D Posted April 6, 2020 Staff Posted April 6, 2020 The iPad versions use the same code base as the desktop versions. So a working process from desktop should be possible using the iPad version. Do you have a file that is setup using the suggested method and when exported to EPS or SVG displays the issue? While our developers will try to make our exports as compatible as possible, it's worth noting that importing a file into another app may always have some issues. The same will apply if you take another apps file and import into Designer, some elements may not be as they are intended/designed. Quote
