SebaDG
Hi guys I'm new to AP but I have a great experience on Photoshop. I find the non destructive adjustment layers very powerful but I can't find a way to set their order properly, when they are nested in a specific pixel layer. The only way I found is to "un nest" the adjustment layer and then nest it again. In this way, the "re-nested" adjustment layer is placed on top of the other adjustment layers but I find this method a bit weird. Is there some faster / smarter way to choose nested adjustment layers order? Thanks! 🙂
lepr
I guess you're talking about mask-nested rather than clip-nested adjustments and filters; there is an important distinction between the two types of nesting: see https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/tutorials/photo/desktop/video/318402519 If you drag the thumbnail of one mask-nested object onto the thumbnail (not the name) of another, then the dragged object will be moved to the position after the receiving one. To move one to become the first, drag its thumbnail onto the parent's thumbnail. Note that, at the time of writing this, Affinity apps on macOS list mask-nested objects in a top down sequence in the Layers panel instead of the usual bottom up sequence. I don't know whether the Affinity apps on Windows are different in this regard. SebaDG
