gdc873 Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 Hi Just wondering if I am the only one encountering problems with the Affinity Photo Workbook? I tried following through a few of its lessons and I get stucked often with the lack of explanation and guides to replicate the same artwork. My artwork also look greatly different from that showed in the workbook? I am new to the software and have zero experience with photoshop but I did some simple designs before using other software and platform like Canva. I just find it frustrating that I got stucked even trying to follow the steps in the workbook and the lack of tutorials online from serif. Does anyone have the same problems? Quote

gdc873 Posted March 28, 2020 Author Posted March 28, 2020 (edited) Thank you. For now i find the tutorial helplful but also confusing.. Would appreciate a full tutorial to share on how to setup your workspace, working through the different features by using the same project files and then how to export as one project so that I can follow through from start to end. Right now all the tutorials explains the features but not the actual usability of application in one full project. I find it difficult to piece the different tutorials to achieve what I hope to achieve. The workbook suppose to do that, but its confusing and the lack of explanation and steps makes it difficult to follow. I reckon mayb take the projects in the workbook and produce them as tutorial videos would be more helpful. Edited March 28, 2020 by gdc873 Quote
