MMG Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Affinity Photo 1.8. I don't know why, but with new version, on new dell laptop, I import and adjust RAW as before, looks great on the screen. However when I export to jpeg, or tiff, colors change a lot (not good at all). I imported older Affinity images, with seeing the other original oil paintings, and after the export, it looks as expected. I can't see any difference with the images. Did something change with 1.8? Do I need to do something with my new laptop monitor? What can I do to get this fixed? Appreciate your advice and ideas. Staff stokerg Posted March 12, 2020 Staff Posted March 12, 2020 Hi MMG and Welcome to the Forums, This sounds more like a colour profile issue than anything. Can you attach or upload a RAW file here and i'll see if i can spot the issue. A quick test would be to open one of the images that look fine after Export and see if that is using the same colour profile and the ones that don't look good after export Quote
MMG Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 Thanks @stokerg. The issue is/was that the Dell XP 15 by default has a vibrant setting which over saturates pictures. I use sRGB so this helped: https://www.dell.com/community/Laptops-General-Read-Only/XPS15-Color-Calibration/m-p/4718090#M876309 Quote
