Robert Kettwig
I have recently purchased and used Affinity Publisher (Windows 10) for the first time. I put together a 96 page photo book including cover. Upon exporting it to PDF, the export file has changed the page sizes by adding .84” to the width and 1.435” to the height of the cover. The book pages in a separate pdf export are enlarged .94” in width 1.685” in height. I have tried many different export settings with the same results. The page size in the publisher document is correct with the proper bleed and cut line placements. I set up a new cover sheet page (as a test) and did an export to PDF and still got the same results with an expanded export page size. I am ready to send to the publishing company, but the page sizes are too large. The expanded sizes do not make sense. I’m not finding any settings that I have made incorrectly. Everything seems to be correct. Am I missing something or doing something incorrect?

Robert Kettwig
OK I think that I figured it out, at least what appeared to work. As I said before this is my first attempt with Affinity Publisher. Overall it was relatively easy to work with. The “Help” was inaccessible so of no help. The tutorials are good but don’t cover everything. So when exporting to PDF one cannot add bleed or printer marks without adding to the exported page size. Not having published a book before or using the software and not getting specific info from the printer left me a fair amount to figure out. I appreciate your help and quick response. Hopefully this will save some research time. Thanks, Robert
