I'm Louis Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Hi - I'm left handed, using the mouse in my right hand while I work using the tablet in my left. It seems, (perhaps as of 1.8?) that Affinity remembers where the mouse was previously placed, returning the cursor to the position the mouse was left. ie. The mouse and tablet can move independent of one another. In other software, the mouse will snap back to the position of the tablet. This only happens on when the cursour is directly on the canvas in Affinity software. Is there anyway to turn this off? Seems like a clever QoL improvement for some, but since I use my mouse and tablet simultaneously, it's made working in Affinity very difficult. Quote
Staff stokerg Posted March 5, 2020 Staff Posted March 5, 2020 Hi I'm Louis and Welcome to the Forums, Which make and model tablet are you using? I've tried replicating this on a Wacom tablet and i'm struggling to do so Quote
I'm Louis Posted March 6, 2020 Author Posted March 6, 2020 Hi, and thanks! I'm using an Wacom Intuos Pen & Touch M Again it's only in Affinity and only on the canvas. I've since redownloaded photo 1.7, and can confirm the change is from 1.8. Strange you weren't able to replicate it - maybe it's a setting in Windows, but it's odd that Affinity is the only thing I can find triggering it. Quote
