I use Affinity with lots of pleasure but one problem often comes up.

On Youtube I saw an instruction video by Affinity Revolution about smoothing the skin of portraits by using frequency separation, using a mask after blurring and brushing skin.

This works like a dream but after exporting (=saving) the file in a lower quality (2-3 Mb) strange colored spots come up on the places where the brush has been.

What am I doing wrong?

Kind regards,  Michael

Hi MichaelG5,

Welcome to the forums :)

I'm sorry to hear this! Could you please provide a screenshot showing your document in Affinity, and the exported result? Many thanks in advance!
