webuxer Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 I need some help from the experts. How can I accomplish this effect on a photo using affinity photo? (see attached) Thank you Quote
nagoodman Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 You could take the elliptical tool draw it over your image, then select inverse from the select menu, then go to filters, or live filter select gaussian blur and that should do it. webuxer 1 Quote
GarryP Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 An alternative to the method supplied above would be to draw an Ellipse, use “Mask To Below”, add a Gaussian Blur to the mask and then adjust the ellipse as required, see attached video. There are probably other ways which may be better for you depending on exactly what result you want with a particular image. (With this method you can get a white background, if you want one, by simply adding a white rectangle below the image.) 2020-02-25_08-31-31.mp4 webuxer 1 Quote
