My display just says iMac for profile and the images I am working on is Adobe 98. I do not see the profile you listed above anywhere in ColorSync either in my library or the system library. Thank you for following up on this.

I hope someone can help me. I finally got a new computer iMac M3 and everything is great except my background keeps flickering from gray to black when working only in Affinity Photo 2.2.1. I've looked in settings and tried using Integrated GPU only but that didn't do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I am on a Mac desktop running Catalina using Affinity Photo2. The selection brush is drawing with a double line and I can't seem to change it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is a pixel layer. I checked and the apps are through the App Store. I am running Mojave 10.14.6. I don't get an error message on Topaz, nothing happens. I do get a message with Akvis and they are looking at it from their end. I just have never been able to get any plugins to work with AP. Thank you for responding.

They are listed in the Filter menu and are not greyed out. They are RGB 8 Images.

Can someone please tell me how to successfully get plugins to work with AP. They show up under the Filters/Plugins but they don't work. Specifically I've tried Topaz Studio and Akvis

I ended up getting the Huion 610Pro v2. Works great once I turned on pressure in AP with the brushes. I've never had anything but a Wacom before but I have to say I really like the pen on this tablet and for the price you can't beat it.

So, apparently my very old Wacom tablet is not supported any longer on my Mac. I am looking at other Wacom Tablets but I was wondering if anyone has used any other tablets with AP that they have really liked.

Ok, I let the update to AP redo itself, it did update yesterday but this morning it showed it was updating again. I restarted the Mac, while resetting the PRAM and the print dialogue in AP is back to what it should be. If this happens to anyone else here are my specifics. iMac, running Mojave 10.14.6. If the print dialogue box has "printer features" instead of "printer settings" you know something is amiss. Again, thanks for responding - I'm just glad I'm up and running again in AP and can print my client's files. I love AP and wouldn't want to use anything else to do my editing.

It's not actually crashing - I get the print window just fine, it's picking up the "cups" driver and not the Epson driver which does not let me pick the correct paper and also is not a well managed color application. For some reason the updater came down again today. I let it update and I am going to restart the machine and see if the problem is corrected. I'll get back to you either way. AP was updated this morning and now no longer prints through the Epson print driver. It is picking up the cups driver which is not where I want to be. This was not a problem in 1.7. I hope a developer sees this and can figure it out because right now I can not print for clients out of AP.

You could take the elliptical tool draw it over your image, then select inverse from the select menu, then go to filters, or live filter select gaussian blur and that should do it.

I had seen that post before. My problem is as a fine art printer I have to match what client's have had me print before. I do need to pick rendering intent. Yes, I suppose there is always a work around but I really would like to not have to jump back and forth between various programs just to get the print done.

I agree, at least the Mac print module could match what is available for the Windows side. Windows does have rendering intent, I don't understand why the Mac does not. Other than that, I have totally switched to AP and really like it. I hope an admin can tell us when the Mac side of printing options will be updated.

Thank you for reopening this thread because I am also wondering why there is no way to pick rendering intent in the print dialogue on a Mac. I have switched to AP and really do love the app but my files need to match previous files for clients when printed. And, I still haven't found out if picking rendering intent in the preferences affects all documents or just new documents. I don't understand why rendering intent is available on the Windows side in the print dialogue but not on the Mac. I hope this thread gets updated with new information.

Thank you. I had seen that video. I don't work with false color - high contrast black and white. I think I just have to decide the best way to get the effect I was getting when processing through PS. Thanks for responding.

Can someone please tell me their workflow for processing IR images taken with a converted DSLR to IR in Affinity Photo. I'm used to doing this in PS but have switched over to AP and it's not quite the same or else I'm doing something wrong, which is entirely possible. Thanks in advance for any and all info.

So, I've gone through all of the print dialogue boxes and I cannot see where you change landscape to portrait. I've googled and searched this forum but have not come up with an answer. I'm sure it's just something I'm missing but can someone point me in the right direction. I did get my paper profiles loaded so that's good!
