How do you close vector shapes when using a brush

Specifically, How do you close a vector shape when using a vector brush as an outline for that shape. 

In the example below, in the Vector Persona, I have created a few circles using the shape tool. These shapes have an empty fill and has vector brushes for the outline. They never seem to actually close and make a complete shape - does anyone know how I can fix this?

Thank you for the response and for your help! I did some further research and saw some similar topics from as far back as 2017 - looks like it is still an active issue/desirable feature for some!
