Hello

I'm working on a bi-lingual document which is supposed to have a two-column-layout, left column German, right column English. My master page has a two column grid, starting with a single column on the left or right and using the autoflow feature correctly populates the following pages on only either left or right. So far so good.

What I need is to autoflow/populated the other column on the already existing following pages, establishing two parallel text flows. Actual behaviour is that Publisher adds extra pages at the end of the document.

Is this possible?

If not, shouldn't it be rather simple to add this as a feature, maybe using an additional modifier key?

Thanks and best regards

Hi Erik - have you thought about using spreads, but with the page size half what you want. Then have 2 master pages (left and right) for the text flow. Export to PDF as spreads. The first page would have to be ignored. I'm not sure how the autoflow would work but it might be possible.
