Togo Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Has anyone else had stability issues with the latest Affinity update? Publisher performed rock solid prior to the 1.7.3.481 disasterous update and now the program is useless to me. It ALWAYS crashes right when I'm adding text to a page and I have had to restart the program 4 consecutive times until I just quit and went stratight to this forum. I think I will delete this program and try and re-install the prior 1.7.1 version that never flinched. This is why I'm always so hesitant about updating programs when I have no issues prior to the notification. Running Windows10 and as I stated before, no issues prior to the update. td crash_edit.mp4 Quote
Staff Lee D Posted January 15, 2020 Staff Posted January 15, 2020 From the Run Dialog you'll need to navigate to the below folder, you will find Crash Reports generated by our app. Please send us the .dmp file with the latest Created/Modified Date as they may narrow down the cause of the issue. %APPDATA%\Affinity\Publisher\1.0\CrashReports Quote

CFG Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 Yes - same problem. Installed 1.8 yesterday. Kept freezing today and when I started to add text to a new document it crashed several times. Quote
Togo Posted February 29, 2020 Author Posted February 29, 2020 I won't update until this gets addressed. It appeared for a fleeting moment that I was going to receive support here but alas...apparently not. Quote
kina Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 I'm having a similar issue. Publisher (Mac) is slow and then crashes. particularly when adding text and tables. I need them to fix ASAP! Quote
