Mordi Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Edit: Forgot to mention that I am using Affinity Designer. Is there any way to have these pink lines stay at exactly 1 pixel size when exporting this as a slice at both 1x and 2x? I'm trying to reskin the user interface of a DAW, which uses these pink lines to determine what parts of the image not to stretch. Quote
v_kyr Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 NO, as far as those lines are part of the same pixel/bitmap image they will scale in the same sense/manner as the rest of the image. - You would have to scale the inner image part (without the pink pixel lines) independently and then apply/surround that by those 1px pink lines in order to get the 2x scale export effect you are probably looking for. Make yourself just clear that a rectangular pixel area (a bitmap image) will scale up/down as a whole. So for the 2x size then just scale the inner portion and afterwards apply a 1px frame with pink corners. Mordi Posted January 10, 2020 Author Posted January 10, 2020 Thanks v_kyr. I forgot to mention that I am making this using vector shapes, in Affinity Designer. But the result is the same; exporting at 2x will yield a 2px result. I found a semi-okay solution using constraints to keep the 1px lines scaling on the right axes, and then duplicating and scaling the group by hand - and finally exporting to 1x. But I was hoping Affinity could help me make this easier. Quote
v_kyr Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Ak Ok, thought you were using Affinity Photo in pixel mode or the like. But if you solved the whole fine.
