None of the three Affinity products open. They start, load fonts messaged, then blank screen for a few seconds, then disappear. No difference whether started from desktop shortcut or start menu.

FAQ is checked and I have none of the offending programs.

The programs started when first installed, then failed to do so. I reinstalled the graphics driver as recommended, and they worked again for a short while, but are now failing to start again.

Graphics drivers (NVidia Geforce) fully up to date. I cannot reinstall graphics drivers every time I start the computer - it is not a reasonable expectation.

Windows 10 Professional, fully updated. .NET fully updated. Bitdefender runs.

Latest dump file attached.

Hi ChesterClive,

Welcome to the forums :)

My apologies for the delayed response, as we have been closed over the holiday period.

Many thanks for your crash log provided, unfortunately this doesn't quite show me enough information to determine the cause of the crashing, so I'd like to check if your Windows Event Viewer has more useful info logged.

Could you please -

1. Open Windows Run (Windows Key + R) and type the following - eventvwr
2. In the window that opens, select the Windows Logs drop-down list on the left and then Applications
3. With the Applications logs selected, navigate to the right side of the window and select Save All Events As ... and save them as .evtx (the default option).
4. Attach this saved file to your reply here.

Many thanks in advance!

Thanks for looking.

I just now tried starting Photo - and it started OK this time! It seems to be a random issue, as I haven't done anything since last trying, except run Malwarebytes and Malwarehunter (as well as Bitdefender).

I'm hesitant to post the whole eventviewer file, with all activities over last six months, on a forum. Here is the log file for what happened when Photo failed to launch a few days ago: can you tell anything from this (source is .NET runtime)?

Thanks for that info :)

I'm glad to hear Photo is loading currently, do your other Affinity apps load successfully, or are they still failing?

It certainly appears as though this is a font related issue - do you have many custom fonts installed on your PC? Do you use a font manager or similar?
Can you recall installing any fonts recently, and since may be causing an issue with Affinity loading?
