Reginaldo Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 I attempted to upgrade from 1.7.2 to 1.7.3 on Windows 10 PC. Then Photo would not run. Looking at Task Manager I spotted an "affinity photo suspended" message. Reinstalled previous version with same result: installs work but program will not run. Quote
Staff Callum Posted December 22, 2019 Staff Posted December 22, 2019 Hi Reginaldo, What happens when you try to run the app? Do you get any error messages? If you do please could you take a screenshot of them and attach it to this post? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
Reginaldo Posted December 22, 2019 Author Posted December 22, 2019 Hi Callum thanks for the reply. To be clearer, the Affinity Photo service starts then gets suspended, so the Affinity Photo App doesn't start (though I thought I did see it briefly appear in Task Manger once). So effectively the app does not run and the service disappears from Task Manager display after it is suspended. No error message. I suspect that Windows is now too busy for my oldish PC thought that doesn't totally explain why the 1.7.2 version was fine but no longer runs atfer it was reinstalled. I have upgraded on my laptop without a problem. Quote
