paolo.limoncelli Posted July 11, 2015 Share Posted July 11, 2015 I noticed that with "quite small" RAWs from Bayer sensors (as 12 or 16Mpx) file opening is almost immediate. But while loading large RAW files and non-bayer sensors AP "stands still" and after some seconds (with Fuji RAF I counted 7 seconds! ) shows the picture. I've experienced it with: - RAF (14bit xTrans Fuji) - NEF (14bit uncompressed 36Mpx from D800) - ARW (12bit 24Mpx from A900) I think a progress bar showing the percentage of demosaicing/loading should help in these cases.
