Selecting warm or cold tones

Recommended Posts

I there!
Sorry if I bother you. In the past I bought the "Tonality mask plugin (https://tonalitymasks.com/). The only great think it introduced is the ability to select warm tones or cold tones, in the same way Luminosity masks do (warm light one/2/3, etc)

Switching to Affinity is great because with blend ranges I can get rid of luminosity masks. Is there a way to achieve the same result for tonality masks?

Thank you very much in advance!

You have options to make a selection based on a tonal range from the Select menu dropdown. You can also create a Gradient Map adjustment with blend changes to also adjust the tonal appearance of an image. The app also has a dedicated Tone mapping persona that can be used with existing presets and also create custom ones.

We have this Spotlight article on some of the tonal adjustments that can be done within Affinity Photo.
