Sachin Puthran Posted December 4, 2019 Share Posted December 4, 2019 My Team uses vector software - Designer for creation and animatesd it in After effects. Hence we eliminated Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator from our pipeline recently. But the team is unhappy with certain processes taking more effort and time in Designer to After effects file transports. Here are the key issues 1. EPS related issues -Vectors get combined and become one layer when imported into After effects (a solution was found but it doesn't work when there are a lot of elements or when there are effects applied to layers). - layouting is done twice, once in Affinity and 2nd time in After effects when animating leading to more work and time 2. No option for blend tool. 3. Ai files done on illustrator need to be compatible with pdf in order to work with affinity.
