  1. My Creative team wants this to be done 1. No support for import or export of INDD or IDML files
  2. My Creative team has pointed out the following issues when porting to After Effects 1 All vector files and bitmaps fail to export when effects like shadows etc are applied to it. Also the process is long and complex. -file sizes will be larger for matching composition size requirements in after effects and in turn will be a performance issue for hardware. 2. no PDF for 1 single artboard. 3. Camera raw processing has bad results
  3. My Team uses vector software - Designer for creation and animatesd it in After effects. Hence we eliminated Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator from our pipeline recently. But the team is unhappy with certain processes taking more effort and time in Designer to After effects file transports. Here are the key issues 1. EPS related issues -Vectors get combined and become one layer when imported into After effects (a solution was found but it doesn't work when there are a lot of elements or when there are effects applied to layers). - layouting is done twice, once in Affinity and 2nd time in After effects when animating leading to more work and time 2. No option for blend tool. 3. Ai files done on illustrator need to be compatible with pdf in order to work with affinity. Hence while exporting special steps have to be set for the same. 4 - Color of the image changes with color chooser like a tint of that color gets applied on image (bitmap) Awaiting your response Sachin Puthran Thatzit.com
