pierobortolot
Hi guys, I need help.I did a sky replacement of a 360 photo exactly like in your tutorial. But I can't understand why a white halo is formed between the mask and the sky. How can I avoid it? And so it is in all the photos.Do I have to do somethings during the sky replacement? Thanks
firstdefence
Probably because the mask isn't quite masking what it needs to. Any chance we can have a look at the .afphoto file? firstdefence
There are a few ways to do this and one of them is not to overlay the old sky with a new one and mask new sky to the land but actually the reverse, to select the old sky and delete it then put the new sky below the land and feather the edge of the land. There is one glaring problem with the sky chosen to replace the old sky and that is the production of shadows on the landscape, the shadows are falling/cast to the left and backwards indicating the sun is off to the right and possibly behind. The new sky has the sun is bang in the middle, while some people may not notice this it does make the image look slightly off. I've edited the file and saved with history so you can jog back and forth in the history panel: 879 edited.afphoto Quote iMac 27" 2019 Somona 14.3.1, iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... pierobortolot
Thanks a lot. You was very helpful The shadows with the new sun are not a problem for me, anyway I'll put it in the right position so the image will look better Thanks
