TheK Posted November 6, 2019 Share Posted November 6, 2019 Hi there, I'm lost. My Affinity Designer won't start anymore. I ran v1.7.2 on Mac OS 10.14.6 on a MacMini. Everything worked fine until a couple of days ago when it crashed during editing of a file. I didn't install any other software or upgraded the system. But AD crashes right away after the splash screen displays. I've upgraded to 1.7.3 through the Apple App store - to no avail. I've deleted the app from the app folder and reinstalled it anew from the App store. No effect. Still crashes. I don't know what to do. Any hints? Thank you. Staff stokerg Posted November 6, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 6, 2019 Hi TheK and Welcome to the Forums, If you start the app and quickly hold down the Control key on your keyboard you should get an option to reset some settings and 3 options will already be selected. If you now click the Clear button, Affinity should continue to load and hopefully not crash.
