Exporting With 1 Layer Change

Recommended Posts

Hi Affinity people.

I have a question regarding exporting!

I am creating product images and have a file that consists of a background image with the designs in the above layer. When I export, I want the product background image to always be constant, with the design to change for each export.

When I create slices it just takes the current layer obviously. Is there a way to include the underneath layers in every export?

Hope this makes sense! Cheers!

Hi SillyPooPooFace,

Welcome to the forums :)

One way of doing this is to use the default 'Background' slice that's generated when entering the Export Persona, and individually turning off each layer in the Layers Studio such that they aren't included in the export. You can then export your image, and change which layer is visible, then export again.

I've attached a quick screen recording of this below, I hope this helps!
