pdf files automatically converted to designer file

After I installed Affinity Designer in my computer (Window 10), all the pdf files are automatically converted to Designer files. Could I please get any help for fixing the issue ?

Welcome to the forums

It sounds like you have accidentally set Affinity Designer to be the default application for opening PDFs. The below link should help you resolve this issue.
