pirxx Posted October 17, 2019 Share Posted October 17, 2019 When I copy-paste the content of a page from inDesign to Publisher it works ALMOST flawlessly. The show-stopper is that a column of text will be pasted as separate text boxes containing each line of the text. That's extremely annoying and where the workflow of migrating would be super straightforward otherwise; because of that it is slowed down ten-fold. Is this a bug? Rather than copying the contents of the page wouldn't it be easier to export to a format such as PDF and open that in Publisher? I will try it - although I prefer to go page by page and rebuild everything (with an occasional copy paste) because I want to have all swatches/master pages/text styles etc properly recreated in the new document.
