Would be nice, if the overprinting property could be selected object-wise and not globally over the color swatch. When you do artworks for RISO it happens that you layer objects of the same spot color and some should overprint and some not. Of course, I can add a second spot color but the problem is that I get duplicated colors in the pdf later on which leads to some pain combining them for printing. B

Hey everyone! Please consider including saving and loading the studio layout to and from file (windows, toolbar content, tools position and content) for Designer, Photo and Publisher. This would speed up things when - using the software on multiple Macs - having the layout set back by an update (e.g. 1.7) - going from a beta version to the store version It took me about 45 minutes to setup the UI for Affinity Publisher, including Designer and Photo persona, on two Macs. Also, I think the Designer and Photo personas of Publisher should read the UI layout of Designer and Photo. Best wishes, Shu

While you are writing code for new retail versions, please consider: 1. Make the help topic pages sizable to offer screen wide views. (As it stands now, you can resize only vertically; it should resize vertically and horizontally. 2. Make each panel within the topic page sizable relative to the whole page (As it stands now, when you zoom in on a help topic page, the sidebar zooms wider at the expense of the topic text panel; it should at least work the other way around where the text panel zooms at the expense of the sidebar panel. 3. (Each panel within the page should be able to be sized independently of the whole page.) 4. or, Make the entire page zoomable just like the canvas in the drawing persona. I will assume that the development teams for all applications are collaborating to make all Affinity applications behave the same so I will not repost this under the other application forums unless you advise otherwise. Hello, It would be really nice to be able to see a live preview when selecting a sampled colour in Pixel Persona as an overlay or black and white mask. Currently it shows an approximate result while dragging a slider ( dashed lines ). Extracting clour range ( sampled colour ) and using it as a layer mask or fx layer is a common practice in compositing. Architectural visualizations for example. I can select a sampled colour and click Refine to check if what i did was ok, but it is always a guess. Designer is a GREAT program, but I really miss this feature. I am testing Affinity Photo Beta for Windows and I can't see this kind of tool as well. ( Pixelmator has it BTW ;D ). I know it is a beta so maybe it is a good time to point it out. Performance-wise, maybe taking a screenshot and previewing selection mask on a low-res image is a good idea? Best Regards, Marcin Mirkowicz.

I'm using AP with RAW files from Canon & Nikon. Exposure correction range is limited to either -2 or +2 stops only. Forum user MBd offered a work-around but it would be great to have a range like -5 or -6 to +5 or +6 stops like Lightroom or Capture One offer. This would simplify my life a lot.
