  1. Hi just wondering if Affinity Photo is compatible with PSD multichannel documents ? Could such a file be opened and edited and re-saved in psd format ? Does photo have its own multichannel format and can this be opened with photoshop ? Similar question for Affinity Designer, is it compatible with AI format ? Can Ai files be opened edited and re-saved in AI format ? What is the native format for Designer files and is this compatible with AI ? Ive been using Adobe apps for 25 years so very interested in Affinity products. If the answers to the above questions are favourable making the change will be a no brainer. thanks.
  2. In the Mood of Love (directed by Wong Kar-Wai) is one of my favorite movies, and I’ve drawn a scene from the movie. With polychromos (pens from Faber-Castell) and acrylic paints. https://www.bodobe.de/in-the-mood-of-drawing
  3. How about this "Feature Request" for Serif: Affinity Web. A web design program like Adobe Muse. The ability to design websites without coding. There are a few of them out there but none compare to Muse. They are all too dependent on templates that you modify. Sure, Affinity Web could have some online templates to choose from but they would not be necessary; you could build from scratch. Responsive design or a built-in 3 size option (just line Muse-browser, tablet, phone). You could even make Affinity Web able to open Muse-built sites and convert them to "A-Web". Wow! There are also those many 3rd party widgets. One more app to use what those developers have made and options for people who don't want Adobe's subscription model. Sounds like a win-win situation for those widget developers. Heck, there could be instructions on where to find the Adobe widgets on your PC or Mac and where to drag them to the appropriate folder in "Affinity Web." Reopen Web; open a site; check the widgets tab, and voila, 3rd party widgets for your use in Affinity Web! Serif make my dreams come true and let me leave Adobe in the dust! Oh, and how about a licensing scheme that allow you to purchase your software for Mac and have the same key for your Windows machine... for us who have and use both OSs. Keep developing and improving Serif!! You're awesome! PS. Affinity Web would be on my Christmas wish list.
  4. Excuse me, I use ipad air 2 and adonit jot, but affinity photo doesn't run well. no palm rejection is possible at the moment and for me it's very important. Will be in the next future or I have to delete the app? thanks a lot for the attention.
  5. Hello, I have Affinity Design and am thinking of purchasing Affinity Photo, but I have one question. Is Affinity Photo compatible with other programs like adobes photoshop? I need to edit documents on photoshop for school, but was wondering if I could do my work in Affinity Photo at home, then send the doc as a PNG, or JPEG etc to the school which has photoshop? thanks :)
  6. Hello, I'm trying to figure out the best way to design icons with Affinity Designer. At this point I've figured out that I should design my icons at @1x then export them in the sizes I want. But there's one question that remains. How is the best way to reuse an icon? For example: imagine if I'm designing a search icon with a little magnifying glass. This icon is intended to be of 40 points for both iOS and Android. Designed, exported, everything is fine. But now I want to reuse that icon in a larger one. Say, that it would be the same magnifying glass but on a piece of paper. And this icon is expected to be at least 2 times larger proportionally to the first one. I need to double the size of my magnifying glass. How would you do that? Can Symbols help in this regard? Because if I'm just taking my vector magnifying glass, copy it onto the next document, then try to augment its height and width, I'll get the good size but the strokes won't increase accordingly... And I don't see myself exporting the magnifying glass into pixels to reuse it on a vector document. Thanks a lot for your help, Clément
