After upgrading to v2, the small icon on the thumbnail in the windows explorer next to the .afphoto files has disappeared. If I have turned off showing file extensions, I don't know which is a .afphoto project and which is a .jpg photo, because both thumbnails are the same. Is it an update or windows problem? Yesterday, before the update, the icons were still there. The same thing with .afdesign files.

The thumbnail of the affinity file does not show the icon file type on the thumbnail. This issue is only happen with affinity MSIX installation. It's not happen with legacy msi .exe installer. My system: Windows 11 Pro (latest update), RTX latest driver, Amd cpu The thumbnail should look like this:

hey all, after upgrading to the v2 suite, my thumbnails no longer display the proper affinity icon in the corner of the thumbnail in explorer. it appears as no different than the actual image files in the same folder. this is extremely disruptive to my workflow as i often save my af files in the same folder as the source images, and not being able to open my file at a glance is extremely inconvenient when this functionality was available in v1. is this a bug, or was this behaviour removed? if it's the latter, i'd like to request it be added back in to avoid a regression from v1

I recently upgraded to Affinity Suite 2, and I realized an odd choice, which i'm hoping can be fixed or changed. With Affinity Photo 1, the affinity photo icon appeared next to files with the afphoto extention: With affinity photo 2, that same icon no longer appears on files with the afphoto extension: The same thing seems to happen with Designer 2, and i'm assuming it happens with publisher 2 as well: This is an issue, because now I can't tell at a glance what file is a the picture that I want to upload/use, and which one is the editable one, I've put them in a folder to separate them, but I have about a dozen afphoto files that I can't tell at a glance is editable anymore. Is there a way to fix this, or change this? Or is it stuck like this?

Hello guys, I used Designer V2 for the first time (before I used V1) and I noticed that the documents do not show a preview of the saved file, why is this happening? PS: I have the Windows version and in the configuration the option to save thumbnails with the document is activated.

hello affinity team I ran into a few problems using version 2 I don't know where exactly the application is installed, so I can't add the program to Nvidia Experience for optimization or add it as an external application for opening photos for example from Sony imaging edge after installing v2 the small application icon disappeared (in the browser) if the photo is in .afphoto format, now when opening the file I can't quickly determine if it is jpeg,tiff or affphoto, it made navigation much easier. I have reinstalled V1 to see this icon. when using the brush in the masks I often get that the program stops responding to some commands, you can use keyboard shortcuts, save the subfile, switch the tool but you can't use anything, the whole program slows down a lot, when checking the performance of the PC, according to the measurements, nothing significant happens and the processor runs at 3%, the ram memory is almost empty and the load on the graphics card is also minimal. another problem I found when using the patch tool, after drawing the exact shape it suddenly changes to a completely different shape, I can't describe it exactly but it's as if the path is shortened
