  1. i'm now experiencing unbearable lag *on a fresh open* having upgraded to 2.1 on windows that was not there previously. even simple tasks like closing an image causes lag both with the actual closing of the tab (the button remains depressed and the tab stays on the bar for upwards of 2 seconds before finally disappearing) and the redraw of images being switched to takes even longer than it did before the update. is there a way for me to downgrade? the software has become unusable to me like this
  2. nope, i have onedrive disabled and do not use any other cloud storage sync solutions on this computer. i only created the folder there for ease of access in displaying the problem, this occurs regardless of where in the system an affinity file is located, and has only begun happening after i set the v2 suite as the default to open & handle affinity files instead of v1
  3. thank you for the reply, i am currently running windows 10 professional 22H2, build 19045.2251, all current on patches provided in the attachment below is a screenshot of how afphoto files display now when affinity photo 2 is the handler for afphoto files next to a rendered image otherwise identical to the file. the only differentiator is a small border that windows adds to image files, which is nowhere near good enough to differentiate in a folder full of photos and takes beside their afphoto counterparts the previous behaviour displayed an icon for the app in the corner, which was great quality of life so i am baffled as to why it has gone missing in v2 this is also not exclusive to photo 2 - designer & publisher also have gotten rid of the corner icon and these should also be added back as well
  4. hey all, after upgrading to the v2 suite, my thumbnails no longer display the proper affinity icon in the corner of the thumbnail in explorer. it appears as no different than the actual image files in the same folder. this is extremely disruptive to my workflow as i often save my af files in the same folder as the source images, and not being able to open my file at a glance is extremely inconvenient when this functionality was available in v1. is this a bug, or was this behaviour removed? if it's the latter, i'd like to request it be added back in to avoid a regression from v1
