Hi, I just wonder whether there is an easy way in Affinity Designer (1.5.2 on Windows) to turn the background of an imported GIF file transparent? I've created a sketch comprising several elements spread all over the document. Now I want to import a greyscale GIF with a white background. My goal is to turn just the white background transparent without using masks or the selection brush. Is there a way to tell AD to remove the background of just the GIF with a few clicks? Hi, I'm doing my 100UI project, and I use framer to make it interactive. But sometime it's too much complicated and surplus, I want some feature can make my single pic to become a gif or other file that can interact. If Affinity doesn't hv this feature plan, thanks for any suggestion to make interactive design tool.(I use framer, sketch, javascript) Thanks again!!! -
Is there a way to do a frame by frame animation like in photoshop or AI with a time line/lap scale? -
I'm pretty happy about finding Afinity Photo, I'm just reviewing the various features before we dump photoshop CC. Does the software support Gifs ? We'd love support for actions, this looks like it will come in a future update. Thank you Serif. -
I have been trying to figure out how to go about importing a gif so I can edit it but can't find the option anywhere. Any ideas? -
At work, I need to create the occasional GIF that gets added to – wait for it – an Oracle Reports application (from the 1800s). To make a long story short: The GIF generated by Affinity Photo doesn't work. Neither does the one by Acorn, for that matter. I haven't tried Pixelmator, but the only GIFs that are accepted by Oracle Reports are those created by “Save for Web” in Photoshop. The Photoshop-GIF is also a bit smaller, by the way. This is just for your information. Please don't fix it, as the problem really is with Oracle Reports. Keep up the good work, guys!
