  1. In Affinity Photo, Edit Menu. The option Copiarachatado is actually two separated words: Copiar achatado.
  2. Steps as follows: > Drag and drop picture file into active picture as a layer > make a selection (e.g. rectangular, freehand...) > use menu or shortcut to copy, paste as new layer and then deselect, (cntr C, cntr V, cntr D). > new layer is a complete copy of the previous layer and not the selected bit. However: If the layer is rasterised first - it works. Should copy / paste selections to new layer work if non - rasterised ? Regards Drag and drop select.mp4
  3. I am editing high-rez 16-bit AdobeRGB photo images. I see that in order to copy/paste a selection from such an image I must first convert the Image layer to a Pixel layer. When doing this is there any change of image quality, such as in the smoothness of gradients or in the overall tonal quality? Thanks.
  4. The help file (searching for "flatten") says "Copy Merged". The UI says "Copy Flattened"
  5. I just purchased Affinity Photo and can't figure out how to crop a layer. I have found some tutorials from a couple of years ago that walk mr through it but they want me to use the "Copy Flattened" feature under Edit, and that is not there. do I need to do something to get that feature to appear, or is there another way to crop a layer?
