Here I explain 5 ways to sharpen with Affinity Photo. I have also included a macro for download to help with one of them.
I hope you find it useful.

Pixelsmith reacted to drippy cat in Affinity Photo ebook free at Christmas on Amazon
Hi everyone,
Affinity Photo 101: The Fundamental Five Steps will be available for free on Christmas day and Boxing day. The link is for the US store but I'm sure there will be a little gizmo asking if you want to view the book in the country where you live. Don't forget that the book contains a coupon which allows you to get this course - Affinity Photo: Five Steps to Better Photos for free, because the book and the video series cover the same processes but with different photos. It also contains coupons which give heavy discounts on most of my other video courses over at Udemy.
If you do take advantage of the offer and you like the book, a review on Amazon could really help get the book noticed. But only if you can spare a couple of minutes.
thanks for your time and a happy holidays to you all

Pixelsmith reacted to Alfred in Is it a lifetime upgrade or a large version upgrade?
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Pixelsmith.
You’ve understood correctly. All 1.x updates are free for version 1 owners, but if you want the new features in version 2 you will have to pay for it. Having said that, version 1.7 is currently in beta and there have been indications that there is a version 1.8 still to come, so version 2.0 is clearly quite a long way off. Version 1 will continue to work after version 2 is released, so you won’t be forced to upgrade if you’re happy with the version you have.
On past evidence there will be launch offers for the version 2 apps, so you won’t have to pay full price if you’re quick off the mark.
