Actually, I think I figured it out. Whilst watching the tutorials + You Tube, everyone referred to reducing the quality below 100% to achieve a smaller file size. When I reduced to 85-90% to get a 4mb or less file, the jpeg export looked soft & not great. However, when I left it at 100% (which produced a larger file) it looked great. I need to use the app more and get used to the program but I do really like it. I purchased Photo & Designer for the iPad & my laptop so I could ditch Adobe.
If only Affinity could create a Lightroom replacement or add DAM to the photo app - I could completely get away from Adobe. I like Adobe's stuff, but for Fuji raf files it's just not up to par and I will not pay for subscriptions.
