OK, got it... thanks for everyone's help... it is obviously a more flexible approach, little more fiddly to set-up but worth it for the complete control over the thickness of the lines. Wonderful! I must learn how to use these Affinity tools properly... Thank you all.

I mean like in the example below... there is a much greater range of line styles in PagePlus, perhaps they'll come to Publisher in add-ons or updates, obviously a range of line styles is basic to a dtp program

Will the very limited line styles be expanded or will there be downloadable line style assets to buy? I need the double-line line style you have in PagePlus. Otherwise congrats on a magnificent job with Publisher.

Please add the different line styles just like you have in PagePlus X9... ie 2 line, thin thick line, etc. Its an invaluable time saver. Otherwise a magnificent effort that is working for me with everything I've thrown at it. Well done. Thanks.
