No I meant when adding an effect to a subject, let's say a dropshadow, is it than possible to toggle it on and off?

Is there a possibility to toggle on/off the effects in Designer? If there isn't, a checkbox should be handy in a future update.

I'm pretty sure that your screenshot is not from Affinity Publisher. *edit* I saw in another post that it 's a bug. Sometimes it picks the menu items from Affinity Photo.
