I have found Affinity support to be non-existent with no way to contact them. I have been trying to get a refund due to my dissatisfaction with Affinity, but never get a response. If you haven't downloaded it, don't bother. If you're looking for support, don't count on it

I can't seem to get my tools such as blemish tool, healing tool, etc to work

I was viewing the tutorial on layers and it mentioned a text layer. I don't have text layer nor do I have all the layers
