I'm think I'm going to have to go on faith. I like Affinity... a lot. But the V2 APP was not what I wanted (not at all, ever) so I got a refund before any talk of an MSI option surfaced. Now I still want to support Affinity with V2... but only if there is an MSI installer. So I'm seriously considering purchasing at least Designer on faith... but I'm not going to install the product until I see an MSI. Please make my wishes come true.

So I'm using Photo and resizing bitmaps to fit into a particular area of my 1024x1024 sized bitmap... while scaling my "pasted" bitmap, the app will go non-responsive and not recover. I only have 3 layers... Nvidia GFORCE 1060 3G, Windows 10 pro, 16G ram Latest drivers (updated last week) recovery requires killing via task manager

Trace it with the pen tool? This takes like 45 seconds per letter. Trace with pen, set fill color, fix up with node tool... done.

I have purchased the software in the hope that DDS will eventually be a native format.

Hello, I'm Pete Willard. I've worked as a hobbyist with graphic art and photography since Pc's became a thing. I'm looking to modernize my toolset and I'm here because I just cannot subscribe (pun intended) to the Adobe subscription model. (I gave them a year, added up my costs and benefits and decided, "No, this is not the way I want to use software that I will never own) I really like what I see with these products.
