My iPad freezes constantly when using this new version. Totally useless. Anybody knows how to get hold of Serif?

I use Sony a6000 camera and I have settings on jpeg and raw. Then I download photos to iPhone and hence to iPad pro(10.5). Photos are stored on IPad photos. When I transfer a photo to Affinity Photo, it opens as jpeg. Where is the raw file of the photo?

Using the Smart Selection Brush Tool

In the tutorial the smart selection brush snaps to subject. On my IPad it does not! You get two lines that move all over the picture. It is frustrating -
Snap to the edge DOES NOT snap to the edges, period
