Thank you so much. I had been looking up so many tutorials to see if I could find out.

I am having a problem when I select images. When they load it's as if they have loaded onto graph paper, as there are lines over them. Does anyone know how I clear that? Thanks.

Hi I am Jillcb, I love creating graphics/wallpapers. I started on Gimp which I still use from time to time, but decided I wanted to try Photoshop. But after looking at the prices, I found out about Affinity Photo and decided to try that out instead. So far, I haven't regretted it and look forward to finding out more about it. As well as fan art, I have started to do some wildlife graphics as well which I am really enjoying.

Hi, I have just joined the website. Up to now, I have used Gimp rather than Photoshop, but having seen Photo Affinity was wondering about trying it. My first question is, do you need to have used Photoshop first, to be able to use Photo Affinity? I noticed in one of the articles I read about PA, that you can use some stuff from Photoshop. I am taking that as not being possible for me if I don't have photoshop in the first place? I obviously don't want to buy it, if there is no point, so would be grateful for any advice from anyone.
