  1. Had this happen too. Doing refine selection to change sky. Locked up twice. Had to shut down iPad Pro (12.9, 512gb), new, so I’m thinking Ram not an issue. Was able to do refine work in small sections, so perhaps it locks when doing a large area? I was going end to end with a wall photo, so not overly complex. Not a beta tester, just new to AP and iPad Pro.
  2. Hello everyone. New to both Affinity Photo and a new iPad Pro 12.9". From what I have already done with both, I am really looking forward to the pairing. Mostly shoot Nikon wildlife images and have been post processing on Capture NX2, which was a good program, though not supported anymore. Never been a Photoshop user, so the layout and layers workflow is a tad different experience. I can tell that AP is a power program and tool that I hope to get years of work out of. Thanks for developing this. Kind Regards, Dennis
  3. New to Affinity Photo and a new iPad Pro, so not sure if my information is helpful. I just had the same error. Finished edits on a photo and went to develop it. It went to the main menu screen and when I went to open the image again, I got the "Unable to load document" error. After reading this thread, I went and turned the iPad completely off and restarted. Was then able to open the document, but when I try to select different personas, I get the message "Cannot Develop please select an RGB pixel layer before developing". Perhaps this is hanging up the program? Once choosing a pixel layer and developing, I am able to switch personas and save and open the image normally.
