If it does turn out that we need an external app to reliably print booklets via APub on the Mac then have a look at the Create Booklet app by the Kept Promise. http://thekeptpromise.com/CreateBooklet/ I have NOT as yet tried it with APub but have used it for several years to create booklets direct from Word and found it be very simple to use and very reliable. It installs as an option on the normal print dialogue box on the Mac under the PDF dropdown...

I don't see these options either. As it happens I already have an excellent program 'Build Booklet' so it's not an issue for me, but clearly Publisher has the ability to impose a booklet - we just can't see how to do it!

See screenshot. My text boxes have picked up an unwanted indent and I can't figure out how to fix it! I can't simply drag the indent markers back to the left and right edges..

still not quite sure how to get the edited file back into Photos - sometimes it seems to update automatically other times it doesn't - once I've finished editing in Affinity Photo what should I be doing to update the image in Photos?

OK - thanks - if I do it your way then it seems to work - but not if you do it the way Apple suggests - very odd!

yes, I do mean Apple Photos. I can, of course, export photos from Apple Photos and edit them in Affinity Photo then re-import them into Photos but that's terribly clunky and I don't think I should have to do this - clearly other specific features of Affinity Photo can be invoked within Photos so surely the full app should be available?

I'm trialling Affinity Photo on Mac. Main reason is that I need the facility to fix converging verticals in architectural photos which my version of Photoshop elements can't do. I've enabled Affinity Photo as an extension and followed the procedure to edit a photo but when I select the option: 'edit in Affinity photo' I get the error message : 'Affinity Photo could not be launched; Please press cancel' but other Affinity options such as Affinity Haze Removal do work. What's going wrong? (Mac High Sierra)

How does one change page margins on an existing document. I get the option to adjust margins when creating a document, but can't find a way to subsequently alter them?

Hello there I'm delighted to discover at long, long, last a least partial replacement for the late lamented Freehand. I understand that some of the more advanced text handling facilities which Designer lacks are likely to be incorporated into a future product? That's a shame for me as I would have like to have had an 'all-in-one' solution for producing graphic friendly newsletters and the like, but on the other hand Designer's incorporation of bitmap editing tools is a bonus. I purchased my copy from the Mac app store having used the demo version to prove that the product does what I need it to do. My question is: do I not get any kind of serial number for the product? and my supplementary question is - what's the procedure for when I'm ready to walk on the wild side and try Beta copies?
