Hey guys, When exporting to psd, the layers, if they are not named in Affinity, get export with the name Layer, followed by a number (Layer1, Layer2, etc) It would be great if the default layer names would actually get export as well. For example, if I don't name a layer that's a Curve, it would get exported with the name Curve, not Layer1. Thank you

Hi guys, When I copy text from Word for example, the font of my text field in Affinity changes to SymCat (it's a weird font, I have no idea why I have it installed ). Anyway, if I copy it first in Notepad, which doesn't support text formatting, and then I copy it to Affinity, everything is cool. But it's way too time consuming. Is there a way to stop Affinity from formatting text I paste in a text field? I only need the text content, I don't want the formatting from another program, doesn't make much sense Thank you, Chris

Hi guys, I am using the frame text tool, and I don't like the fact that I always have to double click the bottom middle handler to make the actual text field get as large as the text itself. Is there a way to have the text field resize to the text's height automatically? Thanks

I found a bug, which I noticed in the previous beta as well. Sometimes, after using the drop shadow effect, the DROP SHADOW title disappears, together with the checkbox which removes the drop shadow. Basically you have to restart the program for it to reset. I posted a screenshot of what the effects panel looks like Thanks, Chris

You lost me I don't think I get it. Also, what is "⌘ (cmd) + ⌥ (option/alt)", is that Ctrl+Alt in Windows (doesn't really do anything on my end)? I've never used the paint brush, but the idea behind my suggestion is that users can use the eye dropper on objects existent on the stage. -
Hi guys, It would be great if when using gradient colors, we could use the COLOR PICKER tool. For example, I have an object that has a gradient color. When I click on one of the handlers, to change one of the colors, if I use the color picker tool, the shape loses its gradient color and turns into the color chosen by the color picker, regardless of the fact that I first clicked on one of the gradient handlers. It would be great if when clicking on a gradient handler, and afterwards selecting the color picker tool and selecting a color, only the color of the gradient linked to the handler I clicked on, will be changed. I was actually surprised it doesn't work like this by default Thank you, Chris

Well, I retract what I said about Affinity being useless for me, I use it every day I convinced my co-workers to switch to Affinity. But I still need the editable text when exporting to PSD, right now I am using a very elaborate and annoying workaround, involving Illustrator, Fireworks and Photoshop. Thankfully, at the current company I work with I don't need this workaround, since the developer switched to Affinity, but in the future I will most certainly need it.

Oh, had no idea. I must of accidentally done that, because I have no recollection of doing so I never learned Photoshop, I can't stand the interface/ux But glad I got this sorted out and can continue my work. Thank you so much

BUG: whenever using Ctrl+scroll to zoom in/out, there are all sorts of grey shapes flickering while performing the zoom. It also happens when using Ctrl+1/2 etc. Please, can I get the previous version again, I have a lot of work to do and my eyes are going crazy, it's extremely annoying. PLEEEASSEE! Can anyone send me the previous version? edit: after changing the stage height the flickering stopped

Hi guys, I stumbled upon a bad and weird bug. I'm using the Beta version, and this bug exists at least in the current and previous beta versions (tested in both). So basically I opened a jpeg with Affinity, and copy/pasted it in an affinity project. The weird thing is that the image cannot be moved, even thought it's not locked. I attached the file, the jpeg is not the problem, I tried this with other images as well. The jpeg in question is the one on the left. Cheers, Chris APP THE BUSINESS.afdesign

Hi guys, Is there a keyboard shortcut for vector masking? For example, for clipping, you can Ctrl+X, Ctrl+Alt+V, and layer clipping is done. Is there such thing for masking? I couldn't find anything in the help file, or the preferences. THank you
